Every year thousands of people come to Whistler to live and work in one of the world’s finest recreation playgrounds. Whether skiing, snowboarding, mountain-biking, rockclimbing or apresing on patios Whistler has become the place to be.
It would seem that a small town with so much would be well staffed. The fact is Whistler’s help wanted section is 6 pages long. Businesses from large to small are having to work incredibly hard to fill their employment requirements. Resort Cabs HR director Jessica Meadows said “we have been creative with our recruiting but its a big job. There are so many great jobs in Whistler that sometimes you feel like the potential employee is interviewing your company. We have been lucky, we have great people but we can always use more”.
